From Tough Guy To Jesus Guy

He was packing heat but the little lady offering him a cold drink didn't know that. She also didn't know he was in organized crime using this painting job as a cover. So they sat and talked.  Soon the conversation turned an unexpected direction, and Brian Marcoux's life was never the same.

You'll hear all about it, today.

I left a long comment, but it didn’t post,so this is the short version. :0) Great broadcast - so timely. Brian’s talk today said what has been on my heart for the past few months. I’ve been a Christian since I was 13, and I’m well into my 40’s now, but it seems the reality of Jesus truly being LORD of my life is just now really taking root. I have been feeling an urgency to ‘get this right’ with God, to Accept that He is Sovereign over my life, that OBEDIENCE is a requirement to being a True Believer, and we must Never give up, we must keep pressing on, because He is worthy, and it’s worth it. I used to look at hardship as a judgment on my life and rebelled and despaired against it. (I had rec’d wrong teaching on this too, but I didn’t really read my bible much either.) Now, I look at it as a test of my faith, my obedience, and my trust in God, no matter what. It refines and purifies, and shows us whether we truly trust and love God, and keeps us humble, and so much more! It is imperative that we as Christians Read Our Bible! Study it! Every day! It’s the bottom line, and as Brian said ‘It’s LIFE to you.’ I fell far short of spending time in the Word, and it has cost me dearly over the years. I did promise to keep this brief, so thank you Brian, for your confirmation on what’s been churning around inside me for the past few months.
