Ambassadors for Peace, Pt. 1

Freedom of speech, assembly, and worship. Freedom from unlawful search, confiscation of property or imprisonment. The right to face your accuser, a fair trial and proportionate punishment.  Everyone believes in these things, right?  Well, it's only possible for those who have heard of the Bill of Rights.  America is only one of a handful of nations on the planet which guarantee such rights to its citizens.

Today's guests aim to change that.  And they're making headway, as you'll hear today. What makes them so passionate about human rights? Their unwavering commitment to the Gospel of Christ. Norm welcomes Gary Ansdell and Emil Haddad for the first of two programs in a series titled "Ambassadors for Peace."

The Next Christendom

"Red and Yellow, Black and White, they are precious in His sight..." Perhaps you sang the song in Sunday School as a child. We know that Jesus really does "love the little children of the world." And there's every indication that more red, yellow, black, brown and every other shade of humanity will quickly become the face of Christianity. It's an amazing transformation of the body of Christ. 2000 years after he commanded his followers to go into "all the world" Christ is worshiped and followed on every continent, in every country and time zone.

What does it all mean for the future of missions and ministry? Is everything done that can be accomplished? Hardly, and there's never been a more exciting time to be a Christian.
